Workday Developer

Purpose of the role is maintaining and administering the People systems, delivering key functionality that support the People team and the wider business. Delivering and championing ongoing improvements. Setting an agenda and implementing using Workday for self service and on demand reporting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the People function and wider business to get the best out of the Workday product, including assessing data needs and developing reporting and dashboards
  • Creating a self service model for wider People team to access required data
  • Developing configuration on Workday to deliver on improvements and maintaining system configuration
  • Responsible for Workday Releases; reviewing updates, liaising with teams as required, testing and ensuring system continues to function
  • Create Security groups for user based, role based, segment based to provide access to the end user
  • Setup dashboards and worklets within the Workday system environment with the use of data points from third party systems
  • Setup scheduled reports and understand the required permissions for report sharing and support the various reporting functions with composite, matrix and advanced reports
  • Responsible for managing the Jira backlog and maintaining pace on changes
  •   Acting within the agreed change framework
  •   Key contact with Kainos to implement improvements (as required)
  • Stakeholder management with Kainos and Finance Workday contingents
  • Supporting with the provision of reporting and ad-hoc analyses for members of the People team and managers across the business; both on request and to support established business initiatives via reporting and dashboards in Workday
  • Ensure highest level of confidentiality is maintained in the treatment of HL colleagues’ personal data

Languages:

  • Very good command of Polish & English

Requirements

  • Strong Workday HCM, Reporting, and Business Processes knowledge is a prerequisite for this role
  • Recruitment, Absence & Compensation Workday experience would be an attitude
  • Proven track record of working with and improving Workday
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience of analyzing, summarizing and reporting on data
  • Experience of managing a varied workload to tight deadlines
  • Organized, with a keen attention to detail
  • Good written and numeracy skills
  • Logical thinker with the ability to identify weaknesses in data and processes and create
