Senior Android Developer

Warsaw, Poland / 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

As an Android Developer, you will join one of our squads and will work with talented people to design and build elegant solutions for the HL Android app.

Must have:

Proficient knowledge and understanding of both
Kotlin and Java with a demonstrable portfolio of previous work
Understanding of Android SDK and release process
Experience working in fast-changing environments and setting up tools and processes for a team
Experience with MVVM, MVP, Android Architecture Components
Understanding of version control tooling (Git, BitBucket)
Experience with using REST APIs
Demonstrated ability to follow and explain Android best practices
A strong passion for Android Development and keeping up to date with the latest trends
Continuous improvement mindset
Collaborative/team focused

Languages:

Good command of Polish & English

Nice to have:

A degree in computing, IT or a numerate discipline
Experience working in a cross-location, cross-country teams
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and automation tools (Jenkins, Fastlane, AppCenter, CircleCI, TravisCI, etc.)
Experience with RxJava2, Dagger, and Retrofit
Experience with multi-module Gradle projects
Experience writing unit and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso, Robolectric)
Experience using Atlassian stack
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
