InfoSec Analyst

Warsaw, Poland / 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Information Security Analyst is a specialist role with the primary focus being Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance. They deputise for the Cyber Risk manager and are jointly accountable in ensuring Hargreaves Lansdown’s Information Security Management System remains effective in protecting HL critical information assets within risk appetite. This requires a mixture of technical, and non-technical information security risk experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research and report on security related topics such as threats and regulation;
  • Supervise the work of junior analysts and apprentices, and provide guidance where needed.
  • Help the Senior team members embed the principle of secure by design throughout the business; engage with the SDLC process and project teams and represent InfoSec.
  • Participate in an cyber security awareness and training program;
  • Assist with on-going compliance and third party security audits such as pen tests and PCI-DSS.

Must have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an Information Security or related role
  • Must be certified to a recognised security standard: SSCP, Security +
  • Be able to follow the Security Risk Assessment process to assess security risk within HL across multiple business processes, functional areas, and IT systems.
  • Be able to approve within delegated limits risk assessments and 3rd party due diligence assessments that have been carried out by junior analysts and apprentices.
