HR Manager

This position co-develops and delivers a range of tactical and strategic HR solutions for the HL Warsaw Office, is responsible for ensuring all operational HR services and programs are delivered locally; meet the needs of the business and are fully compliant with corporate guidelines and local employment regulations. Manages a local HR/ Admin team.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Managing a local HR/ Admin team ( 4-5 people) – 25%

  • Creating clear vision on how the HR support will be provided to local employees and define clear objectives for the team supporting delivery of the vision
  • Building and developing the team based on local business needs
  • Building engagement in the team
  • Ensuring efficiency in the ways of working of the team
  • Ensuring quality of the outcomes of the local team

Business Partnering with the local business: 25%

  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with managers and leaders within the business to become a trusted advisor.
  • Guiding local management on daily HR related topics including Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Training and Development and Employment Relations.
  • Working in partnership with central teams including Talent Acquisition, L&D, Reward, Compliance ensuring Poland is utilizing and benefiting from group wide resources and adopting best practice where necessary in the local market.
  • Partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure recruitment is effectively led across locations
  • Building and overseeing implementation of  local EB strategy
  • Introducing and improving employee-centric / employee-experience practices that align with HL culture
  • Creating Operating Plan input and Operating Plan control to deliver local initiatives

Employee Relations and Policies: 10%

  • Act as escalation point for  business leaders and managers on complex employment matters, including performance management, grievances, disciplinary, terminations and collective consultation
  • Accountable for overseeing and auditing key employment policies to ensure compliance with local labor law and regulations across the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Partnering with the local management in ensuring Poland  is adhering to central compliance policies

HR Processes: 30%

  • Define and oversee standards of service delivery of the Payroll and HR Admin provider (Polfinans)
  • Oversee the end to end HR activities of the employee operational lifecycle, from employee on-boarding through to off-boarding, acting as the first point of contact and advisor to managers and escalation point for employees throughout.
  • Oversee and sign-off HR administration and paperwork
  • Oversee and sign-off payroll
  • Ensure central HR and People systems are successfully implemented, maintained and utilized for your market.

Office Management/ Back office administration – 10%

  • Ensures high quality of experience for the office based employees
  • Ensures health and safety requirements are met and followed
  • Ensures clear policies and producers are in place regarding employees travel and
  • expenses

Oversees local procurement process ensuring compliance with the company policies and local legal requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of experience in HR, preferred experience in IT/Software service companies
  • Minimum 2-3 years as HR Manager, or HR Business Partner Generalist in a service-targeted organization
  • Experience in building and implementing HR processes at the organization level
  • Experience in the development of a „learning organization”
  • Experience in managing a team / individuals in an advantage Experience in recruiting IT specialists is a very big advantage Excellent multi-channel communication skills, MS Office, etc
  • Very good knowledge of English and Polish Knowledge of Polish Labour Law
