HR Generalist

Warsaw, Poland / 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive HR support to the Polish site including: ensuring adherence to Polish employment regulations, overseeing payroll and HR admin processes, providing employee relations advice and guidance, ensuring data accuracy in all employee documentation as well as in WD.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

ER

  • Provide specialist and complex employment law and employee relations advice to all levels of management.
  • Support managers to hold formal meetings in a legally compliant manner ensuring that risk mitigation is at the heart of advice offered

HR Governance

  • Create and review internal regulation and policies and management guidance to reflect any labor law / social security or personal income tax regulation changes
  • Ensure GDPR compliance in the employment templates and processes – local GDPR champion

HR Ops

  • Advise local managers on best practice of all HR policies and procedures
  • Process all employment related changes through WD as well as provide support to managers in processing the changes through the system – local HR WD champion
  • Support with any necessary offer paperwork, references and on boarding communication whilst ensuring a great client experience
  • Supervise and audit Polfinans (third party HR admin and payroll provider) in providing HR Admin support, ensuring completeness and on time preparation of documentation, medical checks, sick leaves etc.

Payroll

  • Prepare payroll input for Polfinans including benefits changes, long term leaves, ad hoc deductions/ changes, intellectual property right input/ reports – Administer all B2B contracts and ensure payment of invoices

Other – Works constructively, positively and pro-actively with teams, managers and the wider HL Team to achieve consistently high levels of performance and client satisfaction. – Works with the wider HR team to support as necessary with project work and a wide variety of BAU tasks.

Languages:

  • Very good command of Polish & English

Requirements

  • Very good knowledge of Employment Law, Good knowledge on GDPR and data protection as well as social security regulations
  • Good understanding of payroll structure and processing in Poland
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to assess and record factual information
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Working in an HR environment, handling confidential colleague information
  • Ability to problem solve and ensure that all regulations are adhered to Experience of working at a generalist HR Advisor / Specialist or equivalent level Workday experience or similar ERP system experience
