We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our rapidly growing Data Science team. As a team we are focused on building intelligent Machine Learning data solutions to inform decision making and help our clients save and invest with confidence. We do this through building out our personalisation tool kit, creating forecasting models to understand future volumes, using NLP to understand the voice of the client, and so on.

We are looking for you to operate in a hybrid way of working with a couple of days in the office a week and the rest remotely, our office is located in Warsaw Spire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build predictive/descriptive capabilities in the cloud that improves both client experience and colleague effectiveness
  • Monitor, retrain and optimise existing models to maintain model performance
  • Surface model outputs through API’s
  • Engage and partner with product teams to identify problems and embed solutions
  • Identify areas to innovate and use data or automation intelligently to improve the client or our colleagues experience
  • Continually develop our technical capability in order to use data effectively

Must have:

  • Strong commercial experience in data, a proven background in innovative problem solving and delivering results.
  • Experience in building ML solutions in the cloud (preferably AWS)
  • Strong coding ability (R/Python), in addition to SQL (Hive & Impala)
  • Demonstrable influencing and stakeholder management skills; operate in a way that generates trust and collaboration with an awareness of how to challenge effectively
  • Engaging communicator, able to bring relevant narrative to the data and able to adapt presentation skills to suit your audience
  • Operate autonomously, skilled at managing own workload and priorities
  • Proficient user of project management tools (e.g. Confluence/JIRA)
  • Skilled at implementing statistical techniques in production-grade code
  • Skilled at analysing and manipulating large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)
  • Familiarity with machine learning methods such as neural networks and reinforcement learning
  • API development/deployment
  • Very good command of Polish & English
