Product Owner

We are looking for highly skilled & motivated IT Business Analysts who would like to become also a Product Owner, who enjoy seeing their work making a measurable impact to a business and disrupting the status quo. Ideal candidate should not only ask what is needed but also dare to ask “What if we do this in this way”? This person will work with one of our great development squads consisting of Java Developers, QA Engineers and will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the entire product.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a product owner in projects working with Scrum methodology to deliver software products
  • Work with the business, including senior management and directors, to define high level and detailed requirements for a product
  • Document and elicit gathered requirements
  • Bring product vision and product roadmap to life.
  • Constantly seek opportunities for improvement and suggest new projects
  • Break down product into features and build product backlog
  • Create proper user stories and define acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog.
  • Work closely with developers, testers, UX designers and infrastructure peers throughout the whole development lifecycle

Requirements

  • You are a business analyst or product owner with solid working experience in business and requirement’s analysis
  • You have an ability to clearly and properly define requirements for product and identify business and technical changes required to address them
  • You can take a product vision and break it down into features to build a product roadmap. You can then translate your roadmap to set of user stories
  • You have strong organizational skills.  You can prioritize workload effectively and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • You’re a team player who values a positive culture and have ability to interact positively and professionally with team members and stakeholders
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills
  • You can prove strong problem-solving skills and approach which can deal with ambiguity
  • You can share with us some experience with working in an agile environment
  • You enjoyed using Jira and Confluence tools in your previous projects
  • You have an understanding of software development lifecycle
  • You have a degree in IT, computing, management or a numerate discipline
  • You’re a fluent English speaker with excellent written and oral skills to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders
  • You are open for business trips up to 40% of time (when needed)

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE:

  • Working experience of Object-Oriented Modeling and Design with UML
  • Basic knowledge in Domain Driven Design
  • Running a development team as a Product Owner
  • Basic knowledge of SOA
  • Understanding finance products
  • Experience with working in multinational environment
  • Specific knowledge of our associated technologies like: Java, JMS
